Andy Wiggins was presented with his completed Brown Belt (1st Kyu Certificates) at the Bootle Dojo on Wednesday 22 August.
Shihan Smith and Sensei Saunders presented Andy with the certificates.
The separate belt and certificate awards allow the successful participant to celebrate and be presented with the appropriate belt immediately on passing the grading.
The blank certificates are returned to the club officers. They are then filled in with names, dates,grades. Club stamps are used to endorse the grading.
Two certificates are presented. One from the club and one from NAKMAS.
The completed certs are presented a day or so after the exam. This allows the person who has just passed the grading to recover from their efforts and enjoy the presentation.
